01. Are these real images?
Yes. Every image is captured using real astrophotography equipment, including a telescope, astronomy camera, tracking mount, filters, and long-exposure imaging techniques. The final image is created by combining many individual exposures and carefully processing them to reveal faint detail, color, and structure.
02. Are the colors real?
The colors come from real light captured by the camera and filters, but astrophotography requires processing to reveal details too faint for the human eye to see. My goal is to keep each image natural, balanced, and faithful to the data while still showing the hidden beauty of the object.
03. Where are your images taken?
Many of my images are captured under the night sky using my personal astrophotography setup. Some are taken from Colorado skies, while others may be captured from darker locations when possible. Each image requires careful planning around weather, moonlight, visibility, and the position of the target in the sky.
04. Can I purchase prints?
Yes. Select images are available as prints through the Image Store. Print sizes and formats may vary depending on the image.
05. Will the watermark appear on purchased images?
No. Purchased prints and approved digital downloads do not include preview watermarks or website branding.
06. Can I use your images for commercial purposes?
Commercial use is not included with a standard purchase. If you would like to use an image for business, marketing, publishing, products, websites, or any other commercial purpose, please contact me first for licensing options.
07. Can I share your images online?
Yes, sharing is welcome with proper credit to YSAstrophotography. Purchased digital files may not be edited, resold, redistributed, or presented as your own work.
08. Do you take custom astrophotography requests?
Custom target requests may be considered depending on season, target visibility, weather, moonlight, and imaging conditions. Because deep-sky imaging requires planning and clear nights, custom projects may take time and cannot be guaranteed. Please use the Contact page to send your request.
